Production Ready?

Is Spring-ws production ready? Is any one using in production? When is version 1.0 expected? Will support for attachments be available in 1.0?

Is Spring-ws production ready?
We're still in the pre-1.0 stages, and the API of Spring-WS hasn't stabilized completely. For instance, the SoapMessage interface in CVS has changed quite a bit since the 0.9 release. That said, I don't think major changes will occur in the OXM module, or in any of the endpoints. Most of the architecture is here, it just needs to be polished up.

Is any one using in production?
I know of at least two projects which use it in production. Besides that, I am just as curious as you are as to who is using it :-)

When is version 1.0 expected?
We expect to do a 1.0 release this summer. First, we will do milestone releases, to arrive at a Release Candidate in June, preferably around the same date as the Spring One conference. You can view the release road map in JIRA: http://opensource2.atlassian.com/projects/spring/browse/SWS

Will support for attachments be available in 1.0?
Yes. It is planned for the next release, available early next month.
