View Full Version : Shorter release cycles?

I just wanted to ask, when a new release of Spring modules is planned. As I see from Jira there are already some new features added to CVS, but it seems that it will still take a while for the rest of them.

Would it be possible to move some of the not-yet fixed issues to 0.4 in order to speed-up a 0.3 version? I think, shorter release cycles with less features might be better than long cycles with more features, as it improves adoption of Spring modules. It's a little bit messy to use CVS snapshots for projects in order to use not-yet released (but functionable) features.

Anyway, keep up the good work!
Andreas

Andreas thanks for the feedback. I agree with you and I for one, hoped to have a release out the door several weeks ago. However, it is a team effort and we don't want to do any 'bad' releases especially after so much time.
I'll check the status again and get back to you.
