I had made a stupid mistak and thought there might be a problem with the Spring form tags and using XHTML. But, there wasn't.

Yes, but what now if someone went down the same path of troubles as you. They have to figure it out from scratch. Why don't you share your experiences. Later, when someone searches, they'll be glad.

I don't think it's too great to start removing your posts simply because you don't want to look a fool.
